Havering Museum is reminding residents to come and take a look at its new exhibition, which begins next week.

Mine’s a Pint: Ind Coope and Havering’s Brewing Heritage will explore the history of brewing in the borough, from medieval alehouses to Romford’s Ind Coope company.

The ribbon will be cut at 11am on Saturday by historical author Patricia Pound and her husband Birger, both former employees of Romford Brewery.

The exhibition will be open to the public from midday, with admission the usual price of £2.50 for adults, £2 for senior citizens and free for children aged under 16.

The attraction will run until March 22.

For more information, email exhibitions@haveringmuseum.org.uk or call 01708 766571.
