Students at Sanders School are celebrating this week as many achieved some outstanding results in their GCSE exams.
Among the successful students at the school, in Suttons Lane, Hornchurch, was Joeley Williams who achieved 3 A*, 6 A and 3 B grades and is going to study at Colchester Grammar School.
Fellow student Simon Butt will also be heading there after gaining 2A*, 5A, 3B and 1C grades.
Other successful students celebrating were Melissa Nemhara, who gained a total of 7A*s, 4 As, and 2B grades, Abisola Bright who achieved 1A* 6A and 4B grades and Jordan Knight who achieved 4A*, 4A, 2B and 1C grade.
Nicholas Marchington also achieved 2A*, 5A, 2B and 1C grade.

Head teacher John McEachern said: “The staff are delighted at the many positive results the students at Sanders have achieved this year.
“Many of them are going on to various colleges to study A-levels and we wish them all the best in the future.

“They deserve it after all the hard work and effort they put in.”
Last week ex-Sanders students were celebrating impressive A-level results.
Former student Emma Smith achieved 2 As and a B and is off to study Psychology at masters level.
Also working towards her dream job as a specialist radiographer is Jess Thomas, who achieved 2 As and a C at A-level, and Adam Pickles who will go to Warwick University to study biological sciences after achieving 2As and a B.
The school said it had “high hopes” for all their future success.
