DJ Colin Francis has been confirmed as the headline act for the Havering Fashion Heroes event.

A host of other celebrities are already lining up to attend the show on the Bank Holiday weekend on April 1 at the Brickyard Bar and Grill in South Street, Romford.

Compere on the night will be Adam Ryan from Essex Fashion Show.

The event, in aid of Help For Heroes, will also include a catwalk with fashion from The Only Way Is Bikinis, Kandi Clothing, Ellie Boutique and much more.

It is being organised by businesswoman Karen Wilton, from Collier Row.

She said: “There are lots of small fashion businesses in Havering that are doing a lot of good work, but are just not being given the chance to show what they can do.”

The most stylish person on the night will also get the chance to win a photo shoot worth more than £500, sponsored by RM Magazine and PositiveMedia.

The winner will receive a full hair makeover by the artistic team at Falltricks Salon and Training School in Western Road, Romford, and free teeth whitening at Perfect Smile Spa in High Street, Hornchurch.

The competition is open to anyone over 18 and those entering must have made a minimum donation of £7 to Help For Heroes.
