Councillors’ allowances are set to be frozen as huge cuts are made to frontline services.
A report will go before members at next week’s full council meeting recommending the basic salary remains at £10,208.
Councillors with special responsibility will be paid the same as this year.
The salaries are, however, subject to any increase under the annual Local Government Pay Settlement, which has yet to be announced.
A cabinet position was cut and committees reshuffled this year in an attempt to save amid £60million of cuts.
The report will be discussed at Havering Town Hall on Wednesday next week.
