Students showed off their talents in a special production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on the West End stage.
More than 200 pupils from Havering College of Further and Higher Education performed Andrew Lloyd Webber’s show at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Sunday April 7.
Director and producer, Peter Dayson, who lectures at the college said: “It was a brilliant show.
“It was sold out and we had lots of praise from everyone.”
The production was part of a community project and saw pupils from Havering schools, including Corbets Tey School in Harwood Hall Lane, Upminster taking on the part of some of the main characters.
Children from other schools also helped to bring the story alive by singing a variety of music on stage.
Last year, the college held a production inspired by the Olympics, called Inspiration.
Peter said: “This year’s show was probably one of the most successful.
“The whole community was involved and it was an amazing production.”
