Hornchurch drama students are proving that fairy tales aren’t all gingerbread houses and sexist stereotypes.
A gun-toting Little Red Riding Hood, a criminal Goldilocks and an axe-wielding Prince Charming are among the Roald Dahl creations that will grace the stage at Havering College’s Ardleigh Green campus tomorrow and Thursday.
First and second year performing arts students will put on the Revolting Rhymes plays at The Space from 7pm on both days. They have already previewed the show for eight local schools.
