Havering cadets were able to hop on board the largest ship on the Royal Navy Fleet.
The cadets from TS Hurricane Hornchurch and Upminster unit were given a special tour of the HMS Ocean in Greenwich recently.
The ship was stationed at the Thames during the Olympics as part of security measures by the police.
The cadets had the chance to sit in the captain’s chair and had a chat with the naval officers on the ship about what life is like as a serving officer.
