More than 100 companies from across the borough entered in the hope of receiving one of the 12 prizes on offer.

Cllr Robert Benham, cabinet member for environment, said: “The standard of entries was very high as always, and I know the judges have had a tough job whittling them down to three finalists per category.

“I’d like to wish all the finalists good luck and I’m really looking forward to finding out who will be the winners on the night.”

The judging now commences, with the winners set to be announced at a prestigious award ceremony at CEME Conference Centre, in Rainham, on October 16.
