Voters in Havering and Redbridge went to the polls yesterday to elect a new Mayor of London and London Assembly candidate.

At the halfway stage, Conservative’s Zac Goldsmith is leading Labour’s Sadiq Khan with the most first choice votes to become Mayor of London in Havering and Redbridge.

However, Sadiq Khan is winning the vote so far across London.

UKIP’s Peter Whittle is in third place, Green Party’s Sian Berry in fourth and Liberal Democrat’s Caroline Pidgeon in fifth.

In the race to become Havering and Redbridge’s London Assembly candidate, Labour’s Ivana Bartoletti holds a slight lead from Conservative’s Keith Prince.

UKIP’s Lawrence Webb is in third place, Green Party’s Lee Burkwood in fourth and Liberal Democrat’s Ian Sanderson in fifth.
