Images have been released to provide a look inside a new leisure centre in Hornchurch.
The multi-million pound Harrow Lodge Leisure Centre is now ready to be opened to the public.
Everyone Active, the leisure operator which will manage the site in partnership with Havering Council, announced an opening date of January 3.
It did not confirm when asked by the Recorder if this date had been delayed due to the introduction of tier four restrictions in Havering, which mean that leisure centres must be closed.
The facility features a 25 metre eight-lane main swimming pool, a 20m wide learner and diving pool with an adjustable floor, a 100 station fitness suite and a group cycling studio.

The Hornchurch Road venue also includes two multi-use exercise studios and a six-court sports hall.
It has been built to replace Hornchurch Sports Centre, which remained open during the construction of the new building.

Council leader Damian White said: “Our leisure centres are very popular with the local community and this new addition really demonstrates our commitment to providing everything residents need to live happy, healthy lives.”
Everyone Active's contract manager, Tom Fletcher, added: “The brand new Harrow Lodge Leisure Centre will be a welcome addition to Hornchurch and the local community will benefit greatly from all the fantastic facilities we have to offer.
“The leisure centres in Havering are pivotal in providing a wide range of facilities to the community and we’re passionate about helping more people to improve their health and wellbeing by getting active."
Everyone Active also manages Central Park Leisure Centre in Harold Hill and Sapphire Ice and Leisure in Romford.
The latter venue opened in 2018 and the Harrow Lodge centre is part of an investment programme into leisure facilities by the council.
Last month, the council submitted a planning application to build a new leisure centre in Rainham.
The plans for the facility, proposed to be on the Rainham Recreation Ground site in Viking Way, include a swimming pool, gym, and fitness/dance studios.
