A Harold Wood school is going can mad to support families helped by Havering’s foodbanks.
Redden Court School has started a fortnighlty collection of cans and will be taking them to the foodbank Harold Hill.
Headteacher Paul Ward said: “Through the project, called ‘I Can’, the school is asking students to bring in canned food to donate to the food bank. Some of our students come from that area, and this is a project that they have embraced.”
