Firefighters were called at 1.15am this morning, to deal with ‘30 tyre’ garage fire in Wennington Road, Rainham.
“It looked bad at first glance, but we had it under control after 20 minutes”, a spokesman from Wennington Fire Station told the Recorder.
An engine from Dagenham was also called to douse the blaze.
In total firefighters were at the scene for just over an hour.
No one was injured.
