Staff at the Tesco supermarket at Gallows Corner were in the pink last Friday as they took part in a Race For Life Pink Day.
The event was organised to raise awareness of the cancer battling race events that will be happening all over Essex and the country.
Staff members were all asked to wear pink on the day and they turned up in wigs, tops, shirts ties and a number of saris.
People had the opportunity to have their photo taken with an Aunt Sally Board as well free chocolates and flowers when making a donation to Cancer Research UK.
Clover Deacon, Tesco community champion at the store, said: āI am proud to say the event was a huge success and Iām sure we raised lots of awareness for the events in our area. The response has been great from our customers and staff.ā
