More than 200 dog-lovers joined their pooches as they put their best paws forward to raise money for Saint Francis Hospice.
The Havering-atte-Bower charity’s Woofs and Wellies event took place at Thames Chase Community Forest, in Upminster, on Sunday.
Georgina Childs, 51, of Hornchurch, was there with her cocker spaniel, Barney.
She said: “I just love the walk. It is lovely that we are all there together sharing the walk while supporting the hospice.”
The hardy hounds completed the 3.5km route and enjoyed entertainment from dog dancing club The Canine Performers
Katy Woodgate, the hospice’s events and community manager, said, “It was a real success and I would like to say a huge thank you to all our supporters who come along year after year and to those who are new to Woofs and Wellies.”
