A group of friends raised money for a Hornchurch children’s charity by selling cakes and washing cars.
Jack and Frankie Barnard, Jade and Rosie Sellen, Rois Brentnall and Olivia Tighe put their best foot forward to raise 72.95 for First Step.
Jack and Frankie’s mum Lisa encouraged their fundraising efforts to support the charity.
She said: “The circle of friends decided themselves they wanted to raise funds for First Step as Jack and Frankie’s little brother Lenny attends the nursery and they can all see the progress he has made.
“They are always thinking of ways to raise money and help the charity, the next project is knitting Christmas stockings and selling them to friends and neighbours. We are all very proud of them.”
