A lorry caused “can-age” on the A13 this afternoon when it spilled its load of “fizzy pop” on the Ferry Lane roundabout in Rainham.
Transport for London warned of road disruption at around 1pm, with the junction clearing about 45 minutes later.
TfL Traffic News (@TfLTrafficNews) tweeted: “In Rainham, a lorry has shed its load of fizzy pop cans across the A13 Ferry Lane Roundabout (south side).”
A picture, also posted on Twitter, showed the container, apparently detached from its cab, surrounded by police officers clearing the mess.
