A woman had to be cut out of a car after a crash in Hornchurch last night (Thursday).

Firefighters from Hornchurch station were called to the collision in North Road just after 7.15pm.

Crews used special cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car and rescue the woman, believed to have suffered neck and back injuries.
