Firefighters were called to a fire in a first floor flat today.
Ten firefighters from Harold Hill and Hornchurch fire stations were called to the blaze in Warwick Close, Emerson Park at 2.36pm on Tuesday March 20.
The blaze was discovered by a teenage girl, who came home from school and found that the flat was filled with smoke.
There were no injuries.
The flat has been completely damaged by the blaze.
