Family pay tribute to ‘kind and caring’ 24-year-old who died in Horchurch crash

The family of a 24-year-old who died in a car crash in Hornchurch have described him as “a kind and caring young man”.

Gabriel Serunkuma, of Havering, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision in Upper Rainham Road.

His family said: “Gabriel was a kind and caring young man who would do anything for his family, he is loved now and will always be loved.”

Police were called to the road’s junction with Sowrey Avenue at 8.30pm on January 26, where they found a blue Ford Focus overturned.

London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance also attended.

A post-mortem examination carried out on January 29 gave cause of death as multiple injuries.

No one else was injured in the collision and it is not believed any other vehicle was involved.
