Viewers of BBC Three’s Britain Unzipped on Tuesday (May 29th) might have spotted a familiar face – Ruby Cooke, who won the Face of Essex competition run by the Recorder and Uppercut Hair Group earlier this year.
Uppercut arranged the cameo, and Ruby appeared live on the show from her auntie’s house in Upminster with her friends and mum, giving someone from the studio a makeover.
The show aims to take snapshots of what people are like in different parts of the country.
“It was great – good fun, especially doing it with my friends,” she said.
