Martin to make changes
Romford boss Paul Martin will ring the changes for tonight’s Mill Field clash.
Following FA Trophy success at AFC Totton on Saturday and with a Ryman One North trip to Waltham Abbey at the weekend, Martin will rotate his squad for the visit of the Airportmen.
He said: “I want to go through as you can still end up playing Dagenham or Southend, which is nice for the players.
“But the league is the main priority now this season as we’re doing so well. If we wasn’t, I would’ve gone for it more in these cups.
“I’ll probably rest about eight or nine, but I’ve got a good squad and it may be a chance to have a look at some of the boys from the Capital League side.
“We’re not going to take Stansted for granted and we don’t want to lay down against Aveley [in the Ryman League Cup], but those games are not our priority.”
