Pupils from Elm Park Primary School created a special aerial display after convincing three “dragons” they should win funding for an Olympic project.
Students from the Hornchurch school made flags to represent every Olympic nation and joined them all together to form the centrepiece of a spectacular full school photo.
Elm Park Primary won the cash for the display after taking part in the “Havering Olympic Dragons’ Den” earlier this year. Year six children successfully pitched the “Flying the Flag” project by video link to the directors of Joskos and Computer Talk, as well as the manager of the London Borough of Havering Educational Computer Centre, and won 250 to turn their vision into reality.
