If you had the chance to ask your future MP any question, what would it be?

Because now is your chance to put them in the hot seat as the Recorder asks residents to send in their questions, which will be put to the Parliamentary candidates.

Whether it is about the parties’ policies on tackling the ever growing need of housing, the NHS or what they could do for your area, we want to hear from you.

The Recorder will be holding its Hornchurch and Upminster hustings - which will be filmed using Facebook Live - tonight (May 26) at 6pm.

Conservative Julia Dockerill will not be attending tonight’s hustings.

The Dagenham and Rainham hustinggs will be on May 30, also at 6pm.

All of the candidates for this year’s general election have been invited to make sure that their voices are heard.
