Elderly driver dies after colliding with several cars in Upminster

An elderly man died yesterday afternoon after his car crashed into several other vehicles in Upminster.
Police confirmed they received reports of a collision involving a number of cars in The Grove close to Parkland Avenue at 3.45pm.
The man, in his eighties, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.
