A man had to be taken to the hospital with minor injuries after his van was left on its side due to the windy weather conditions.
Firefighters from Hornchurch fire station were called to the road traffic accident on the A13 junction with Ferry Lane, Rainham today (Monday March 5) at around 10.30am.
Crews were on the scene for half an hour making sure the area was safe.
The road was closed for an hour.
