GHOULS, vampires, witches and zombies took over Brentwood last weekend.
Venues from nightclubs to nurseries held parties and shops held face-painting sessions to encourage people to come and buy their spooky goods.
Tiny terrors got into the spirit at Brentwood National Childbirth Trust’s (NCT) Halloween Party at Tipps Cross Remembrance Hall, Blackmore Road, Hook End in Brentwood on Friday (October 29).
Fancy dress, ghoulish games and spooky snack time kept 60 little ones spellbound while eight children went home as winners of the fancy dress competition.
Brentwood NCT’s spokeswoman Irina Milburn-Taylor said: “Everybody had a fantastic time.”
