Enjoy a new season of shows and workshops for children at The Queen’s Theatre.

The Story Play series of fun-packed storytelling workshops is held in the foyer on the first Saturday of each month. This season begins with kids’ favourite The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle on 2 February at 10am. Aimed at children aged five to seven, every monthly 45-minute Story Play session is packed full of fun and games and based on a popular children’s story.

As part of The Entertainers series popular children’s entertainer Mr Popcorn returns to take centre stage at 11.30am in Mr Popcorn’s Funtime Magic Show for children aged two to six, and he is joined by Scruffy the Dog.

Kids will enjoy an hour filled with balloon-modelling, puppets, magic and a guess the cartoon drawing competition with a chance to win one of Mr Popcorn’s wonderful pictures. There’ll be lots of extra fun too as face painter Suzy Sparkle transforms little ones into colourful animals and flowers! Tickets are £5 for adults and £5 for children.

Tickets for each Story Play session and The Entertainers show are £5. Book in advance at the box office on 01708 443333. For more information visit www.queens-theatre.co.uk.
