POLITICIANS have had their fair share of hubble, bubble, toil and trouble lately. But they got a whole lot more when Romford youngsters performed scenes from Shakespeare’s Macbeth at the House of Lords this week.
The Royal Liberty School students were chosen out of 650 schools across the country for the special performance to help mark the National Shakespeare in Schools Festival.
Co-directors Suz Newman and Heather Arrowsmith were thrilled with the students’ performance saying: “It was an honour to be chosen to perform. We hoped that our students would overcome any nerves at acting in such an important place. On the night they exceeded all our expectations.”
