Children from a Romford school showed off their new-found cooking skills at the opening of its kitchen last week.
Pupils from Crowlands Primary in London Road made pastry and fillings in their new food technology room for teachers and staff from Howdens kitchen specialists, who donated equipment to the school.
Last year the school only had one cooker but now it has two more, new work spaces, sinks and a dishwasher.
The nursery children made star biscuits after singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and teachers are planning lessons for children to cook new dishes.
