Romford school girls of all ages mucked together to create a tree-mendous lasting memento of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, this year.
Frances Bardsley School, in Brentwood Road, received 60 trees from The Woodland Trust.
Girls planted Holly, Dogwood, Hawthorne, Wild Roses and a Royal Oak around the perimeter of the school grounds, in Brentwood Road.
Teacher Russ Peters said: “This will form a lasting commemorative hedgerow that is important for our local ecosystem and environment.”
