ROMFORD youngsters sung their hearts out last week as part of an annual carol concert.
The Bower Park School students donned Santa hats and tinsel for the jam-packed event, held at St John the Evangelist Church in Haverting-atte-Bower.
From traditional carols such as Hark the Herald Angels Sing to hits by rock band Slade, the talented teenaged wowed an audience of more than 150 proud parents and friends with their festive renditions.
Vice chair of governors, Richard Shaw, said: “It was designed to celebrate Christmas and further the school’s ethos about being a community. It was a great opportunity to enjoy the season together.
“It was a mixture of traditional Christmas carols, like Away in a Manger, and more modern pieces on guitar. It was a great success.”
