The Brewery shopping centre is welcoming some very special guests with a wild side this summer.
Eight giraffes designed by school children in Romford will be on display for the summer.
The 1.3m high giraffe sculptures are in celebration of Colchester Zoo’s 50th birthday, and each one has been designed and named by children from eight local schools.
The mini exhibition will be on display until September, when the sculptures will be returned to their respective schools.
Centre manager Rubie Charalambous said: “We are delighted to host the giraffe sculptures throughout the summer. It will be a real treat for the public to see what fabulous work has been created, by such young and talented children from Romford.”
