Students at Redden Court School packed into the hall to collect their results this morning, including Miss Perfect.

Olivia Perfect, 16, lived up to her name by getting eight As and three Bs in her GCSEs, although she insisted she was “pleasantly surprised”.

It was also an emotional day for Megan Togwell, 16, who moves to Newcastle today after picking up seven As and three Bs.

Aspiring zoo keeper Bradley Walker, will take five A*s and seven As with him from the school in Cotswold Road, Harold Wood, to study animal management in Chelmsford.
