Anxious parents have been left waiting to discover what secondary schools their children will attend following an email blunder.
The London Grid for Learning Trust, which distributes the news on behalf of the capital’s councils, has experienced distribution problems.
The result is that 27,000 of 90,000 parents across the capital did not discover what school their child would attend yesterday (Tuesday).
Commenting on the Recorder’s Facebook page this morning (Wednesday) Sally Bowen commented “no email still!”.
A message on the admissions service website had warned parents that there could be problems.
