Children enjoyed a week of crafts, story-telling and singing at a Hornchurch summer camp.
St Andrew’s Church hosted the 19th annual Summer Safari Club event for children on The Green, outside the Queen’s Theatre.
It included games, exploring stories from the Bible and worship and there was an activity day for the younger children who are in Year 5 for a trip to the Stubbers Outdoor Pursuits Centre.
Organiser Julie John said: “This year we had more than 220 children with approximately 100 adult helpers.
“The week ended with a fantastic barbecue on the Friday evening held in the grounds of St Andrew’s Church where the parents and children all came together to celebrate the week.”
