Arsonists set bins alight in Harold Hill

Firefighters were called out to up to five arson attacks on refuge bins in Harold Hill last night.

Crews from Harold Hill fire station received the first call at 9.30pm to a bin alight in Chudley Road, Harold Hill on Monday March 12.

Firefighters were on the scene for an hour.

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “I want to make residents aware that when their rubbish bins are full they should call the council to get them cleared as soon as possible.”
