Firefighters were called out to a number of burst water pipes and flooding caused by the chilly conditions.
Crews attended up to a dozen incidents overnight on Sunday February 12 and Monday February 13 (today).
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “In these conditions people need to make sure that their pipes are well insulated.
“We do get a lot of call outs this time of year but by taking very simple steps people can prevent it happening.”
