Striker returns to Boro ranks
Romford manager Paul Martin has provided an early Christmas present for supporters by bringing striker Kurt Smith back to the club.
Smith netted 46 goals in 99 previous appearances in blue and gold and stands in sixth place in the all-time scoring list.
He joined Ryman Premier Division side East Thurrock in the summer, but has returned to Romford’s ranks as they chase a play-off spot in Division One North.
Boro saw their clash at Wroxham fall victim to a waterlogged pitch on Saturday, but are due to host Tilbury at Ship Lane on Boxing Day (1pm).
