Police were called to reports that a car had overturned in Hillrise road in Romford on Monday, October 8 .


A driver crashed their car in Collier Row in the early hours of this morning causing damage to other vehicles.

Police were called to reports of an overturned car in Hillrise Road on Monday, October 8 at 3.40am.

The London Fire Brigade also attended the scene, however there were no reports of any injuries.

A police spokesman said: “The car had been in collision with parked vehicles.

“No one remained on the scene and inquiries are underway to trace the owner of the car.”

A 30-year-old resident who lives nearby said that a, “drunk driver” had driven up the road and, “completely written off at least five cars - literally shunted them right across the road and landed on the roof of his car, on top of someone else’s car.”
