Schoolchildren were over the moon when Good Morning Britain’s Dr Hilary Jones made them a surprise visit.
Pupils from Crownfield Infant School, in White Hart Lane, Romford, dressed up as doctors and nurses for milk supplier Cool Milk’s fancy dress competition and were thrilled to win a visit from the TV doctor and free cartons of milk.
Phoebe Adams, six, said: “It was a big surprise to see someone off the telly in our school and everyone was very excited – I loved the free milk.”
The competition was held as part of World School Milk Day earlier this year, which aims to highlight the importance of having plenty of calcium in your diet.
Sharon Nacmias, Headteacher, said: “Wow! What a great start to the school day.
“The children loved Dr Hilary Jones and finding out more about why milk is so good for you. It’s a huge thanks to the friendly team at Cool Milk, who made all of this possible.”
