You can donate an Easter egg this weekend for residents of local care homes.
The Mercury Mall has been collecting Easter eggs to deliver in the community since Thursday. Shoppers have until Saturday to drop off their extra eggs into the giant Egg Pod at the centre’s help desk on Level 2.
Sarah de Courcy Rolls, centre manager of The Mercury Mall, said: “With our Easter event raising money for children’s charity First Step we wanted to give our donated Easter eggs to the people in our community who would benefit most from our visit.
“We decided to reach out to those who don’t have the chance to enjoy Easter or have support of friends and family like children do.”
