There is no service on the District line between Barking and Upminster because a man fell onto the tracks at Dagenham Heathway station.

The man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries and the police are “now working to understand how the man came to be on the tracks,” according to a British Transport Police spokesman.

Emergency services were called at 12.16pm.

Passengers are advised to travel on alternative routes and tickets will be accepted on buses and C2C trains.

There are also minor delays between Barking and Tower Hill stations.
