Children were the early focus of the party at Lynross Close, Harold Wood on Monday (June 4).
A bouncy castle, facepainter and kids food entertained the little ones in the small street.
Organiser Simone Jones said that they were expecting around 120 people to attend – the residents, as well as their family and friends.
She added: “We’re a small close, we just felt it was quite nice to do something. It only took a couple of weeks planning really, a couple of meetings.”
Residents all pitched in to make the party a success, including Jane Lewin who made stacks of Union Jack cupcakes.
