A deer died in a road traffic collision on the M25 on Saturday night.
Firefighters from Harold Hill were called to the scene, between junctions 27 and 28, at around 10pm.
A fire brigade spokesman said that no people were hurt in the smash – which involved one car – but the deer did not survive.
