Former Southend United midfielder Kevin Maher heads a list of four new arrivals at Victoria Road, as Daggers boss John Still looks to finalise his squad ahead of Saturday’s season-opener at Macclesfield.
The 34-year-old, who began his career as a trainee with Tottenham Hotspur, is joined at Dagenham by defender Richard Rose, midfielder Luke Howell and striker Sam Williams.
Maher is currently recovering from a fractured metatarsal and will not be fit in time to make his debut at the Moss Rose, but former Lincoln central midfielder Luke Howell is expected to be in the squad after impressing during a trial spell to earn a permanent contract.
Former Hereford utility player Rose and targetman Williams have also penned permanent deals, after successful trial spells with the east Londoners.
