Mark Arber makes shortlist for League Two award
Daggers captain Mark Arber heads a shortlist of four players nominated for the npower League Two Player of the Month award for August.
The 33-year-old played in each of Daggers five league games for the month, scoring the winner against Swindon Town.
The former Spurs, Barnet and Peterborough central defender also clocked up his landmark 600th career appearance in Daggers 5-0 Carling Cup defeat to Bournemouth.
Also, listed for the award are Izale McLeod of Barnet, who scored five goals in five League games for the Bees, Crawley Town striker Tyrone Barnett, who scored twice in August to fire his side to the top of the table and Port Vale midfielder Doug Loft, who spent the final months of the 2008/09 season on loan at Victoria Road.
