Possession of 12 wraps of cocaine earned a man a £145 bill and a two month curfew.

Twenty-two-year-old Ali Ahmed, of East Road, Stratford, was found with the drugs on July 21 at Missoula Bar in South Street, Romford.

He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court the following day.

Ahmed must remain at his home between 8pm and 8am daily until September 29.

An order was also made for the destruction of the cocaine.
