Singing, dancing, flag-waving, and jelly and ice-creaming eating were how youngsters from Crownfield Infant School celebrated the royal wedding.
Children gathered on the school playing field, in White Hart Lane, Romford, to take part in street party style festivities, yesterday (Thursday).
Many designed their own crowns, and painted their faces in patriotic colours to mark the big day today.
Headteacher Sharon Nacmias said: “The children had great fun, enjoying a wonderful school picnic, which included the classic favourite of jelly and ice-cream.”
