‘Unknown liquid’ thrown at Hornchurch shop worker

Police were called to a shop after reports of an assault.
Officers attended the scene in Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch, yesterday at about 2.30pm where on arrival they were told that a man working there had an unknown liquid thrown on him.
London Ambulance Service was called to the scene and took the victim to an east London hospital.
The victim was later discharged.
Nothing was stolen in the incident.
Enquiries continue.
No arrests.
