Two women in their early 30s have now been charged after allegedly going on a crime rampage through Havering on Saturday night.

Police received a total of six calls relating to a series of separate incidents between 9.35pm and 10.23pm ranging from Upminster Bridge, through Hornchurch to Romford.

On Monday, Claire Kinsey, 32, of Putterill Close, Essex, was charged with two counts of robbery; one count of assault with intent to commit robbery; one count of dangerous driving; one count of drug-driving; and one count of handling stolen goods.

Alongside her was Gemma Gadsby, 31, of no fixed abode, who has been charged with two counts of robbery; two counts of assault with intent to commit robbery; and one count of handling stolen goods.

Both appeared in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, and will next appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on December 18.
